Containerised storage is the modern way to store your effects.
The lorry arrives at your home with containers already loaded
on the vehicle. Your goods are carefully packed, wrapped and sealed
at your premises. They are then brought back to our warehouse
where they are forklifted off and stacked carefully away. When
you are ready for delivery the whole process happens in reverse.Containerised
storage involves the minimum of man-handling.
Security is taken very serviously. All containers are unloaded
in the privacy of our warehouse. Our warehouse is fully alarmed,
we have close circuit TV surveillance both inside and outside
the premises.
Take
a look for yourself - there is no substitute
for a personal visit to the warehouse. We welcome the opportunity
of showing you how your goods will be cared for while in our possession.
When you store family goods of a sentimental value we appreciate
your feeling that you are handing them over to a total stranger,
so it's worth spending half an hour to check the warehouse. No
appointment is necessary and we may even be able to come and get
you!

What NOT to Store
Depositing goods is just like opening a bank
account. Only in exceptional circumstances may people other than
the signatories to the original warehouse contract give instructions.
You should give us, in writing, the value of
your belongings and ask us to arrange for adequate loss/fire insurance.
Please understand that you must have insurance in place before
work can proceed.
If
white goods are going into store, you should defrost the refrigerator
or freezer about a week beforehand (leaving the doors open) and
ensure your washing machine/spin dryer is clean and dry. It is
a good idea to put some silica gel bags inside the cabinets.
Never
send precious items such as jewellery, money, deeds, coins or
collections into store. We cannot accept hazardous goods such
as paint, aerosols, gas bottles or other potentially dangerous
items.
Obviously, no plants, food or animals should be sent for storage.
We also recommend that everything going into store is clean and
dry - so think about any items that are usually outside the house
and get them ready well in advance.
